Inspires teachers to use areas outside the classroom within the curriculum. Each section is introduced with a child running across the screen who leaves footprints behind for the audience to explore.

One of the most exciting parts of The Growing Schools Garden website was rigging up a giant green screen floor and suspending a camera in the air to film a group of children running across the floor, then taking the footage and later combining with Flash animation to create the opening sequence for each section where navigational footprints appear behind the footprints of the children. The website was modelled on a real garden made for the Hampton Court Flower Show, and so people who could not experience the real garden could follow in the footsteps of others and experience an online garden filled with valuable resources for teachers.
